According to a recent survey, this catamaran is in above-average condition, with its structural integrity found to be flawless. The Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 stands out among 40-foot class boats due to its exceptional spaciousness and ease of handling. This catamaran affords great performance for day cruises and is set up to be completely self-sufficient for extended blue water sailing.
It boasts a spacious 130 sq.ft. cockpit designed for entertainment and is complemented by an additional 32 sq.ft. of space on the foredeck featuring recently replaced sun loungers and a trampoline. Navigation and sail handling can be effortlessly managed from the rain-protected helm station with convenient access to the roof and boom. Internally, the salon is intelligently designed, featuring a well-equipped galley with a new fridge and freezer, a comfortable seating area with semi-leather finishing, and a nav station. This Maestro version comprises a dedicated owner's suite in its own hull for optimal privacy and enjoys a stylish and spacious ensuite. Another two guest cabins in a separate hull are fitted with ensuite bathrooms and offer beautiful natural light and ventilation.
It has been our home for an extended period of time, and unfortunately we must move on to other things. Overall, we are extremely pleased with this gem; its size and functionality are perfectly suited for a liveaboard family.
